I am an author and illustrator working from my small bedroom studio in a rainy little city off the West Coast of Canada.

 

When it comes to illustration, I have been creating in every medium I can get my hands on from the moment I could hold a pencil. Inspired by cozy stories, nature, the fantastical and little things in life, I aim to create a sense of whimsy and wonder in my work whether its with illustrations, picture books, or graphic novels. I work in both digital and traditional mediums (gouache/watercolour, coloured pencils, ink, graphite), though, my preference tends to lean towards traditional art.

In my writings, I am a novelist first and foremost in both fantasy and fiction, also dabbling in poetry, short stories, and the occasional article. My work tends to focus on identity, mental health, and anything with a bit (or a lot) of magic.

 

In my free time I love knitting, reading lots of books, sipping tea, and spending time with my partner and our extra fuzzy gremlin, Henry. When I’m not working on creative projects, I jump between my school studies and my job at my local public library.
